Presenting Katie Reinman’s Inflexion Points! a 3-dimensional exploration of women’s liberation in linen and resin. The irrascible character that has developed from exquisite form to mold to friendly plaster cast to fiber sculptureĀ changes as the pieces revolve reflecting the entire rainbow within the naturalistic pallet of the material
These three pieces were debuted at the Gatov Gallery February 7th at CSU Long Beach and then presented at the Sex Positive Week art panel, also on campus. Prepare yourselves for more experimental sculpture from Katie in the future!

“My work is attempting to emit the inner strength of women. To eradicate the male gaze and focus on how women portray themselves in this masculine based society. Although I have my own concept that drives the work I leave them untitled. Make your own interpretation.”
