– Jacqueline Li, Alexandre de Roudouallec
A poem and photo living together under one roof. This piece explores the shadows, those impressions that we cast and their implications. Is shade merely a dismal intellectual rememory of death and fleeting life? Are shadows a form of the Other, to be understood, accented, not feared.
How often do we see the shadows of birds flying over head, full of energy like telephone poles, leaving smoke trails in the air and stringing connections over the city.
